I just went down to Corpus Christi today, and we took some back roads to get to C.C. I am so jealous, because about 4-6 inches of snow fell in the Beeville-Sinton-C.C. area, while Austin (which is NORTH of C.C. btw) got not one snowflake. <.<
THe only place in the continental US that snowed on Christmas Eve was the gulf coast of Texas. It's the first time in recorded history that Brownsville got snow. We took pictures of it.
EDIT: Here are some pictures (kinda big; that's my sister in the first pic

)

Ugh, snow .... a friend of ours ended up trapped in Ohio, they got so much in such a short period of time that authorities closed everything except for emergency personnel - no one was allowed out on the roads!
We got snow last night which was a surprise (in SE PA). It's pretty much gone already, but it's SO cold! Going down to around 10 degrees F tonight with - degree windchill. Brrrr. I want summer back!

Pff, snow! I live in Canada and it has been snowing since November(nice for Canada's Image eh?). The first snowfall is always fun but then it gets annoying, so people in Huston consider yourself lucky

I can't believe it. The current bid for that tennis ball sized snowball is over two hundred dollars. I really have to keep that in mind the next time it snows here.

*Blinks* Wow, really? Thats outrageous! 200 dollars for a snowball?
Hmm... will it get that much for a snowball from California, do you think?

*Goes outside and makes a snowball the size of a basketball*

Heh, I kinda like it, though. Better than the temperatures that could give your whole face frostbite that we got last year.

Hah, yeah. I was at the army/navy football game last year during that...coldest I have ever been in my life. I drove with my windows down on Saturday this past weekend...it was amazing.
