If that's the way you wish to put things, then you can no longer eat meat, fruit, or vegetables. Have fun starving. :)

People who eat meat, this is for you:

You can't eat meat AND say "OH! They can't kill and eat cats! ARGH! I wish I can kill them!" You wanna know why? You're eating chciken, beef or pork meat yourself.....You are a hypicrit (sp?) if you are like this.

And, no flames, I am just trying to prove a point.

Except for the fact that chicken, beef and pork is raised for us to eat, and cats are not *raises an eyebrow*

<STOWA|Sleep> my sister questioned the title. "Half Blooded Prince? Does that mean he's a Moogle"

Yeah, Dawn, that's my point.

If you don't want to kill anything, don't eat. AT ALL.

I'd just like to point out something. YES, eating vegetables KILLS BUGS. A bug is an insect not a mammal, bird or fish. I know that I go out of my way not to kill a bug, but sometimes you HAVE TO.

I like to eat. Sure, tell me I murder plants. Plants don't have nervous systems. I will not eat something that has a nervous system.

What makes bugs second-class to other animals?

And what about the nervous system? Is it because of pain? If so, then if we kill an animal painlessly, is that more okay?

Then who are you to decide that animals are superior to plants?

Partially because of pain, yes. But also because nervous system usually = brain. Last time I checked, plants didn't have brains (correct me if I'm wrong, this was in third grade :P ), so they can't process emotions like animals can.

Actually, some can, but not through brains, through their roots, they send their "feelings" to the other plants, like brocolli.

I mean, correct me if I am wrong.

Then I'll make sure to only eat dumb animals or jellyfish - they don't have brains.

So the logic goes, if they're less like us, the more it's okay to kill them. Vegetarians and omnivores just draw the lines at different places.

Jellyfish have brains, yo.

They don't just swim around there.

They breed, too. They know things, they don't swim aimlessly.

Oh yeah, I saw you edit your post.
