We have a big big problem with ants.
They don't come in the house thank goodness, but outside, they're all over the place.
When we were digging up the weeds on the spots we're gonna plant, I didn't realize that there were ant hills over there and I got bit up a few times before I just said screw it and did something else.
We sprinkled some sorta bug killer over the lawn Sunday night, I just hope it helps kill the ants and any other nasty bug that wants to harm my little plants.

And speaking of pests... we get the nastiest little grub worm things out in the back.
It completely grosses me out when I see the things squiggling across the pavement when I let my dogs out.
It's even nastier when they die b/c they let out some sorta black ooze and *shudders* I hate them... almost as mush as roaches.

You know those plants you get in Walmart that you just put in the sun and they grow and grow?

I bought one, put it in the sun, and two days later it was dead.

Best of luck with the plants though.

Ok so... today since it was nice and sunny outside, I put my pumpkin plant out with some fresh water.
About 2hrs later I went and checked on it and it was severely wilted. The stem was ok, but all of it's leaves were floppy and shriveled.

I brought it back in and it's looking slightly better now after a couple of hours.
The leaves are still floppy and feel wilted, but not as much as they were.
Guess I'll be keeping my poor lil plant inside. *sniffles* My brave little plant!

heh

EDIT:
So it's about 11:30pm now... and my plant is looking pretty good now. Almost what it looked like before it wilted, but not quite.
The 2nd leaf is a bit crinkled on the end and the 2 first don't look as strong as they did before, but I think it's gonna be alright.. yay! :D
