Tsk, tsk, Mr. Super Editor. :P

Back on topic, I agree with Dan (though his spelling/grammar is scaring me right now), now that I think about it. If you truly think about it, there's not much of a difference.

But mainly this post was to make fun of Dan. Though I really do agree. Promise.

You just asked for a world of pain, dear.

I clicked fame and fortune, but come to think of it, I do many things for personal satisfaction which will not contribute to fame and fortune whatsoever. So meh. =/

I am motivated, quite often, by insane jealousy and sometimes anger.

You see, I see something I can't achieve, I hate the person who can achieve it, and then I start fuming and decide to go off and practice a bit.

Fame and fortune doesn't do it for me. The only reason I might want fame is if I was a genius. I'm not. The only reason I might want more money than is good for me is so that I can make the money grow and then donate it all to charity when I die. Otherwise, being able to support myself fairly well is enough for me. Instead of fame and fortune, I'd rather know that I am constantly improving and am being a good person. If, as a by-product of being a good, sensible person, I get acknowledgement and wealth (which I see as different to fame and fortune), that would be nice, but I'm honestly not thinking about these things when I do something.

I write simply because I love it and want to improve for its own sake. I don't write because I want people to say I did a good job. If I personally feel it was good, I'd like someone to give an honest opinion, be it good or bad. An acknowledgement is a mark of my personal achievement and that's as far as it really goes. If I were rich it would be a mark of how hard I've been working and saving and would be a mark of my personal achievement as well. The real mark of my personal achievement is how I feel about it -- and no other mark matters quite so much. The other, smaller marks like acknowledgement and wealth just add up to maximise my happiness.

The world doesn't know when I fail and when I succeed. The world doesn't care if I fall and doesn't see if I get up. I know and care and see all that. It matters to me, not the world, and I don't want it to matter to the world.

A little bit of both actually. Obviously I want to be happy in general and with myself, so that's important. Actually it's mostly reccognition I hate gifts and recognition and compliments, so my only other option is personal achievement. Though I do have spending issues, so I need money.

Neither. I'm motivated by God. (unless I'm in a really greedy mood, then personal achievment)

I guess fame and fortune

I'm really motivated by the hacks on MTV that play their instruments half as well as i do, but make 20,000,000 a year.

that's why I'm selling out, haha.

Yes... Very much so

Neither. I am motivated by love, fear and an inferiority complex I need to quash.

Would quite like to be rich and fame I wouldn't really care for, I think. Well some aspects I would, but others I would not. Some sort of minor fame would be cool...like only famous to a certain handful of people...who were really sad.

To be perfectly honest, this is going to sound really rude, weird, arrogant... etc.

I'm motivated by the fact that I want to be better than my friends. I suppose that's a bit of both. I'm happy becuase I'm better than them, but I'm also glad if people see me better than them.

I know, I'm weird...
