Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

I have a range from (about!) F to C, and in basic terms I can say really low and really high! I sing strong at a mezzo or an alto, but I can be soprano, just quieter

. I sing pretty well, but mostly because I have a very strong and loud voice- its really rich so it makes it sound better than it really is.

I just know my singing doesn't kill anyone when they hear it.

Same here.

You sing high.
XD yes I know... and some guy and school wanted to bet that he could sing higher than me.... *rolls eyes* (there's no rolls eyes emoticon? =O). But my voice isn't too strong though, however I do like singing =).

I'm not such a singer myself, as my voice is generally weak once it gets past one comfortable octave range.
But my voice can reach the E almost two octaves below (before everything else turns into grunts), and the C two octaves above. I can squeak another C three octaves above middle (not often though; only when my throat is very clear), but that's not singing. XP
Ack, that's higher than me!!

Generally speaking, it's not the range that makes the singer. It's the quality of the voice itself. I know a girl who can hit whistle notes (and boasts of it whenever she gets the chance), but her voice is much like that of a tortured cat.
Aside from that, my range is nothing to be proud of. Low F to high C.

I think I can do everything, except really low. I can even rap. MY NAME IS KJ, AKA KJ-52. My name is KJ, it is so nice to meet you. ^^

Let's just say that I know a friend who's..."worse". :P He can't go as low as me, but he can scream and sustain an E three octaves above middle C, if my memory and pitching serves me right. And he's a decent singer too.

Yes, I agree. Even if I hit all the notes properly, I still sound bad.

Er...nonexistent in singing. I can make my voice really high or low, but not when singing and sounding good at the same time.

I don't really know the notes I can sing. I can, however, sing most of the high parts in just about any Third Eye Blind song. My voice range seems pretty odd to me anyway, so I'm not sure if there's a way to measure it. Or maybe I'm just weird.

I can't sing although that doesn't stop me from doing it every once in awhile, I pity the poor souls that have to listen to it, then again when I you have friend standing next to you yelling into the microphone you probably don't come off sounding too bad (if they can hear you at all).
I don't really know what my singing range is, I don't even know what levels occur when. At a guess I'd say I'm somewhere in the middle though, I can't sing really deep but at the same time I have heaps of trouble hitting the highs (they come out as squeaks/whines).
I did manage to be selected for choir in Primary school so I guess my range was reasonable enough to be selected but I didn't really enjoy it so I didn't stick around long.

My range is the equivilant to the notes where the bassoon and clarinet ranges overlap, which is an D an octave below middle C to an F two octaves above. I'm much more confortable singing lower, and sometimes I can hit lower notes, but not very comfortably. My singing is quite bad if I'm looking at music, but if I have accompanyment of some sort I usually sound half-decent.

Low. Very Low.
Any lower and I'll be singing a Barry White song.
Mon Aug 08, 2005 6:28 pm
Eh, I dunno, really. It depends on what the song is and who I'm singing with, I guess. So take your pick - really low, really high, or inbetween. =D
Although as a warning, if it's really low I'll randomly squeak.

I'm alto to contralto - I don't know from octaves, which is painfully obvious to anyone who's heard me sing.

From E one octave below to C two octaves above middle C. Almost three octaves, and yes, I am a soprano.
