Holographic Billboards in the Sky

My theory coincides that of the movie "Minority Report," starring Tom Cruise. Holographic billboards would be restricted on public transports, but billboard displays would still be set up as they are now, but perhaps with more video flair. The holographic advertising annoyances would be in the public streets. They would scan your eyes and advertise to you using your name. You be surrounded at times, ignoring them as best as you can on your way to the coffee shop on foot to save on gas, on the way to the subway...

Advertising will be made simply impossible to escape unless you close your blinds, rip all the electronics off of your cereal boxes, and hide.

Reminds me of a dream I had once.

I went outside, looked up at the sky... and there was a gigantic billboard on the moon, huge enough to read from Earth. Scary.
