For some reason I find that most people have to find PPT on their own otherwise they either laugh at it or register, post 2 posts and then leave forever.

Pluck-the-duck, the new fairground game that everyone's talking about. If you ever wanted to see a naked duck, you'll want to play it.

Gah, I showed PPT to one of my "friends", and she told me she was going to lurk around and see if she would be able to steal someones set to use it on a forum we both go to.

Thankfull they're all marked. ;)

"NEOPETS?! YOU PLAY NEOPETS?!"

Even though I don't really play it, there really isn't need to say this. I wanted to slap him :P (he's not exactly a friend either).

1. The chicken banner scares them

2. I scare them

3. They are always like: Forest_Majesty... is that you!?! Who is this then? *point wildly at the screen*

4. "...roleplay?" I explain for the hundredth time and they still are like "Wha...?"

5. "Neopets? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAA, THAT PET SITE?! I had an account when I was like seven, and HHAHHHAHAHHAA you actually play neopets!??!"

Then I turn of the computer with a huff and walk out.

My friends don't enter my house, ever. They don't know of PPT. :D One of my old friends used to know of Neopets, but that's as far it goes as I know.

My friend S-chan was thinking about joining, but she's really more of a lurker (IRL too, funilly enough) so she's never got around to it. She thinks the crowd here is cool, though, even though the chicken thing scares her.

My mom's really irritating whenever she looks over my shoulder, though. She thinks that I made everyone's graphics, and she keeps asking me what the significance of everyone's sets is. -_-

Reminds me, once or twice, my dad would be over my shoulder, and I'd be scrolling over the page, reading or skimming posts, and not really looking at people's sets. And he said "You're going too fast for me to look at the pictures", and I'm like RAWR I'm not looking at this page for the pictures! >=O

I'm just a little psycho right now

My friends aren't morons, and if I ever have PPT up when they're here, they either don't care, or they ask me if that's where all my online friends are from. :P

Not exactly...maybe with some people, but my good friend Renn (Requiem) referred me two years ago her...and I'm hardly a two poster--- of course I had a lot more posts in old PPT :)

They say that the sets were 'Faked', copied from the net

They say the artists are complete ripoffs

They say the Avatars are too small

They call any forum that doesn't have all page-long sigs 'stupid'

They wonder where the hell these people got their names from.

They call us 'posers' for what reason I don't know.

Well, I actually saw someone typing a message in chatspeak and nearly doubled over with laughing.

I try to avoid going on PPT at school, because if students see me typing in English and (OMG!) communicating with English-speaking people they'll think I'm a geek.

Lean over my shoulder so their nose is practicly IN the moniter...and then tell me to respond to whatever thread im looking at and what to say...and point to sets...and just generally annoy the heck out of me. *yes I have been lurking for quite some time now*

My friends are usually split when I log onto Neopets and PPT. I make them play Neopet games, and 75% of the time they get hooked. Out of the 75%, about 90% of them sign up for accounts (without using the referral link... I'd be rolling in PBs right now if they did...).

The other people think it's stupid and make fun of me for a bit. Eh, I guess that's what you get for being a Neopian in college.

But it's alright, cause I GET MY REVENGE!!! I BUST OUT MY SUPER ATTACK PEA AND THREATEN TO DESTROY THEM UNLESS THEY REPENT AND MAKE AN ACCOUNT SO I CAN DOMINATE THEIR PATHETIC SOULS IN THE BATTLEDOME!!!

...then I snap back into reality.

My friends don't get close to my computer, out of their own accord, and my choice.

Thanks, but I'd rather keep the awful topic my friend once made, and the awful spelling, grammar, punctuation and lies off of the Internet, especially PPT.

I convinced my friend to change to proper grammar once... now she talks li3k dIs. Well, I can't boast it's quite as bad, my friends haven't found 1337 yet, thankfully.
