Makes total sence to me.

Picture a cone of cheese. You want to dig your way from one end to the other. Instead of digging right through, you could 'jump' up near the top of the cone, dig that short distance, and jump back down. In the same way, as long as we accually live in a 4d hypercone, jumping dimentions would not only be uber cool but a great way to travle quickly.
