Maybe if you misunderstand someone in a PM you could PM them back to sort it out? I don't see how accusing Paul of doing something he seems to be completely clueless of in public is going to sort anything out And there are no "sides" here if no offense was intended.

Livejournal is a good way of unblocking yourself mentally and lots of people do indeed use it for just that purpose =)

But maybe no one thought what I said was "bad", I certainly don't think so, and I didn't mean it to be taken any other way.

No one (so far) seems to see anything offensive in what Paul wrote. He gave you a perfectly valid option to help you with your writer's block. LiveJournal is a wonderful to help if you enjoy typing out your thoughts. I personally hand write all my thoughts in a journal about once a week. It does help. I even look back at previous pages from time to time to get some inspiration for songs I want to write.

Paul has always had something against me and this post is no exception.

Ginger, I seriously think that you need to chill. Just because Paul made a suggestion and you took it the wrong way, doesn't mean that he has something against you.

There will always be people that you don't get on with in life. The key is to just ignore them - not try to get everybody thinking that the other person is victimising you.

Ginger, I dont think you should be too offended about what paul sent to you. Have you considered that he frequents LJ and wanted to share the knowledge of the site with you. And personally, i agree with him. lj is a great site, its such a relief to be able to just post and get comments from your friends about all your issues without having to worry about strangers (or virtual strangers) ridiculing you about what you say, you can be more honest with both your friends and yourself. Its also somewhere you can display anything creative you may have made/written for honest critique, and find other people with similar interests to yourself. (Please dont be offended by anything i've said.)

But how do you KNOW I've taken it the wrong way? There could be multiple sides to what Paul said to me but according to everyone else, I've taken it the wrong way. What makes me even more suspicious is this: Why did he create a reply to my thread, then PM me his reply, and then DELETE his reply? It looked like he was trying to hide the fact that what he'd said wasn't entirely appropriate.

I know that you've taken it the wrong way because you are having a fit over something that many other people have suggested. Please, drop it.

He probably figured he'd make a more personal response and PM you instead. That way if you had any questions, you two could converse through PM, rather than explain LJ over the forums and bring your thread off-topic.
