I have lots of childhood memories, but one that will always sit in my mind is eating McDonalds in the center of London, sitting on the side of a fountain, with my nana :) I loved that fountain, it had colourful tiles on the bottom.

I have a memory which is just like it was out of the movies.

I got grounded, but there was a tree next to my window. I wanted to go out, so I climbed out my window, onto the tree, fell and broke my wrist.

Hrm, half of my memories are of doing chores because I was grounded... The other half are of doing things that got my grounded.

Oh, I remember that thing about not being in to music when everyone else was. I only got a couple CDs because I wanted to fit in. Then I started listening to computer game music, and I didn't really get into music until I discovered the wonderful world of J-Pop.

One thing I remember is BEANIE BABIES. I still have them...I have like 80. I buy them occasionally too, though I'm not an avid collector like I used to be. Yesterday I went to a garage sale and there were lots of Beanie Babies on sale for $2. I freaked and ended up getting 3 for $5. Yeah, I'm still a child at heart.

^ omg, I have like 40 of them too xD. I don't play with them anymore though. I used to, with my sister. My favourite was and is still Goochy the jellyfish, he's so cute ^o^.

My sister and I would also make up stories about people from TV and everything. It was so fun =p.

My friends were mostly girls. We made up most of our games. There was this one about Elements we played on the Canada map painted outside our school on the pavement, and this Lawyer one... a jumping one, a tamagotchi one >_< and many others. And we were obsessed with Pokemon at one point. Then Digimon xD but I think that was only me.

I read many books as well... Harry Potter, Babysitter's club... then Deltora (that's relatively recent though). I read so much more back then xD.

My Barbies were all mangled. We gave them haircuts, the dog got hold of them, their limbs went missing...my Barbies looked like the victims of some horrible Godzilla attack or something. Except they still smiled, the ones that had heads anyway.
Other than that, I did a lot of reading(I still do, books are wonderful things), played with Legos, though I never really made much, and played computer games. We've had one computer or another in the house my whole life, dating back to the one we had that my sister put gummi worms in--back when floppy disks were actually floppy. When I was little, my favorite computer game was Alley Cat. I wonder if anyone else remembers that game? Heh, I can still remember the music that went with it.

One of my most fond - and just a little bit crazy - memories is acting out/creating our version of the Eliminator game from that show Gladiators with one of my former close friends. The Australian version, anyway. We had slides, and hoops and other things, and basically just repeated that entire level until we got bored, tired or until one of us had to go home. ...I was a tomboy as a child, and hung out with mostly boys - we had these sorts of games. xD

I did have Barbies, though! Most of which, if I remember, had very soap-opera lives, including Barbie leaving Ken at the altar and running away on her palomino horse. I also cried when Shaving Ken wouldn't grow his beard back.

I did virtually the same thing, except it wasn't a palimino, it was two white horses rigged up to a buggy that was a piece of cardboard because I threw and broke the actual carriage.
I remember mutilating my barbies. I drew with markers in their hair, and gave them hair cuts. Punk Barbie has the Canadian Flag as a hair style, and says 'I like toasted marshmellows. Do you?' and 'Lets go to the pet shop!'. Yup, she was Punk.

My childhood.. Yeah I miss it alot...

My memory: Being at a daycare center/arcade thing with a friend while our moms went out to do something. My friend and I then stole tickets :P We slid down nonchalantly on the lockers and began pulling tickets out :)

Mmm...

Well I lived in a house with a rather sizeable bathroom...and I was also rather small. I used to often cover the floor in a film of water and soap and do likewise to myself while having a bath. I would then proceed to play naked slip and slide bath and forth across the room. Good times.

Hah. That reminds me of when we used to not have A/C when we were younger. My sister and I would just be in our undies and lay down on the cold tiled floor. :P

Beanie Babies. I've got so many of them. All though most of them ended up in my little brothers' room. I also went through a pokemon phase, and still have a binder full of cards. I also played baseball all through elementary school, I'm ashamed to say. At least it wasn't softball.

I loved my little ponies, care bears, rainbow brite, pound puppies, other 80's toys, most have made a comeback, but they aren't the same as the old ones.

I had some barbies, but I wasn't really into them much. I have always hated dolls, so I never played with those.

I remember we went and saw ET when it first came out, I think I was 4. I also remember seeing a Rainbow Brite movie in a theatre, but I don't remember how old I was. Maybe 4.

We used to ride our bikes and play outside all day long and our parents didn't have to worry about us. We came in when it got dark.

We had lemonade stands and "garage sales" to earn some money so we could buy candy at the little country store.

Merry Christmas!

That reminds me - I remember one of my birthdays - 4th probably - and I was asked if I wanted to make a burger but I said No cos I was too scared and the lady looked at me funny :o

I blame my parents :)
