My kitten plays fetch. She likes playing with peppermints. She also does flips. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you can get her to do them on command {as opposed to swinging something around above her head to make her jump}.

I don't have any pets, but my cousin has 2 dogs. One's called "Dong Dong" (a cantonese name) and one's called "Cheese" (translated from cantonese). DD can't do any tricks except for down :P and well, does counting thinking that he's a human count as a trick? He doesn't like big dogs and crowd of dogs...he rather be with humans. He even sleep on a bed for God's sake. But hey, he's majorly cute!

Cheese can do hand and several more...nothing special. We love her cuz she's extremely cute!

They both "work" at my cousin's Good Dog coffee shop. It's a coffee shop which lets you bring your pets in, let them play with other pets and well, you can even have birthday parties for your dog. My cousin bakes the dog cookies :D

Back when I had pets, I had a very intelligent cat. I think she got the feeling we loved the dog more, so she tried to be like him. You could use the commands Sit, Stay, and Fetch very affectively, sometimes more so than with the dog. She would also come over to you if you called her. I don't really know if all cats do that but she was very obediant. Pretty cool. My dog responded to growl which was also useful.

Callie can...sit...and shake. She'll come for my dad or sister, but no one else (unless of course, they have food). Nothing else. The cat just doesn't seem to care about anything.

My dog can sit, stay, fetch, shake hands, lay down, roll over, speak (bark on command, of course... not actually speak. :P ), come, and sit up. At least... that's all I can remember right now. She knows quite a few of the common tricks, actually.

I think I've succesfully trained my two parakeets to jump up on my finger when I say the word : "Up"...the one is fickle though. Nothing gets through to him.

Ditto, at least my former pet fishes. They all (30 of them or so) got eaten by raccoons over the years. They did know how to protect themselves when we forgot to refill their water though...

We have possums. If every New Zealander had a loaded gun, and hit a possum with every bullet, we still won't have quite killed them all...
