I collect Star Trek stuff. Mostly figures from TNG and DS9.

The first 9 are all sitting in their plastic on my dresser, I only took a few out to get a better photo. Thats a pretty terrible photo of my Seven of Nine figure, but inside she comes with a few props, and the box gives a little history on her role in Trek. Geordi also comes with a PADD in his hand, and despite it being connected to his palm, it's wrapped up separately o_o Finally, the last photo is of my Picard figure from the episode 'Tapestry.' (Thats why he isnt in his Red command uniform.) That figure came with the Ressikan flute from 'The Inner Light' episode (complete with detailed box), a silver cup for his Earl Grey, a tricorder, PADD, and phaser <3

Most of the TNG figures are from the Generations movie, and the DS9 characters are during early Commander Sisko era.

Kinda reminds me of "40 Year Old Virgin" and all his toys. He made quite a lot of money.

I expect I'll still have all my random stuff when I'm fourty. The other part is likely too.

I'm after another couple of Asuka Rei sets but they're ridiculously expensive.

The Gothic Lolita Rei and Asuka:

Or the 28cm tall fully posable soft vinyl ultimate figures:

Wow. I did not know they had a Gothic Rei. The Gothic Asuka on the other hand... has been on sale and overadvertised on a couple of the places I go travel. Sadly, I doubt their international rates would make up for any money you would have saved.

i've been meanin to ask this for a while, what does "Gashapon" mean?

Wed Sep 20, 2006 3:29 pm

define:Gashapon on Google:

capsule' toys that are sold in Japan. The capsules – small plastic containers usually about two or three inches (4-6cm) in diameter – are bought from machines similar to gumball machines and contain collectable pre-painted toys and figures. Basically a bit like Kinder Surprise eggs but containing stuff that is actually worth owning. ...
http://www.animetion.co.uk/glossary.htm

Gashapon, also referred to as "Candy toy" or "trading toy", is the phonetic word for the sound "Gasha-Pon!" that Japanese toy vending machines make when a packaged item drops down.
