I remember trying to put my first pair in^__^ haha. took me about half an hour too, maybe 45 min, lol! But after a while, I got used to it.
Yeah, if you don't blink, they can slide out of focus..oO; haha. but don worry, you get used to them pretty quickly^__^ hehe

I recently got the ones that you can leave in for a month without taking them out to clean or when you go to bed.
They're FAN-FLIPPING-TASTIC!
I can wake up and see!
I'm so happy I got them and I highly recommend them to anyone debating getting them.

Well, yesterday it only took me five minutes to put in my contacts, a new record! They work quite well too and I can't feel them anymore.
To those of you getting those contacts you leave in even while you're sleeping: I wouldn't do it if I were you. After all, you're falling asleep with a piece of plastic in your eye. It's just not safe. My mom also said that her eye doctor claimed that she was wearing her contacts too long because the blood vessels in her eye were trying to push outward to get more air. So, bad idea. Besides, you should disinfect them at least every other night.

Ooh, I want contacts! Maybe those pretty purple/violet ones, like Paine's!

I can't have contacts because I don't have to wear glasses all the time, only for anything long-distance.
Oh, and about sleeping with contacts...my hairdresser was telling me that he once fell asleep with them on, and they actually slipped
behind his eyeball...he had to pick them out really carefully *shudders*

Contacts. I don't even need glasses yet but I know if I had to get glasses I would break them then contacts forget to put them in. Thats the way I am.

They all had a hard time with them at the first week or so, but got used to them. Just remember not to sleep with them because they dry up and get nasty. And not to rub your eye when you have them on, because they can roll up and go to the back of your eye (both of these happened to one of my friends.)
Thats sort of what a friend of mine told me... He wears color contacts everyday, and he says that if you sleep with them they roll to the back of your eyes... Which sounds freaky to me...

I know. I could get contacts, but I am terrified of them. Even though my friends love them.
Instead of that, I'm getting new emo glasses.

I have beenwearing contacts since 8th grade. Which is about 7 or 8 years now. I would not want to go back to wearing glasses all the time. I cannot even drive a car with glasses on. lol
