X_X *hugs Shifty* I thought I could trust chocolate! Blerg.
Once I was eating a bagel in school and I felt something hard on the bottom of my bagel. So I flipped it upside down and there were pieces of wood embedded in the bottom of my bagel. Could have had spliters down my throat. *gags* And I've swallowed a few bugs as a kid from once I used to have a pool. They would die and float on the top and lo and behold, soon I'd be choking on some random wing or leg.
*hugs AFI* yeah, i've ate my share of things that were gross, like the skin of the cicada bug, caulk (yet i dont think i was able to see in the future after that though, if anyone knows of that aqua teen hunger force episode), and put paper up my nose and had to be strapped down so the doctors could fish it out with metal grabby thingies...but simiular to ur bagel experience, i got a slice of pizza at school and was like eating it, u know, and found it really tough to chew, mostly because of this random metal rod that was inbedded within the pizza. this run-on sentence has finally ended, sorry to all english teaches rolling in their graves because of me and like all those poor english skills of mine...p.s.; kakashi is amazing.

Some friends and I were talking about this at lunch today, not the best time. Anyway:
I forgot about the time when there was a moth cocoon in a pistachio nut I ate. x_x After that, even though I like them, I can't help gagging everytime I open one up.
I found some kind of small animal organ in my chili at school last year. We called it the rat "organ". *cough* You get the picture. >_>
One of my female friends talked about how she found some kind of bug (or at least that's what whe thought it was) in her Taco Salad (also school food). She went up to the cook and asked her what it was and she said it was a dandelion. Now, first of all, it would be very difficult for a dandelion seed to get to the lunchroom from there. Then you wonder why the cook didn't think that was strange and how you could confuse the two... She wouldn't even give her a new lunch.

EW! GROSS! One time, I took a lick of my dog's chocolate (carob, really.) treats, I haven't decided if I like 'em yet.

I've always wanted to try those Frosty Paw dog ice creams. That is, untill I got a good whiff of what they smelled like one day. Blargh! Smells like frozen fish mushed up in a nice neat little package to me.
Never was tempted to eat any of my cat's food though. My brother was when he was little though. Always grossed me out.

Oh dear... this thread may make me want to never eat food again...
My gross experiences:
At recess one time (I think in fourth grade), I was pretending to be a dog, so these girls come up and offer me what I think is a Cheez-It, so I grab it and eat it, and they're all like "EWWWW SUNNIE THAT'S A DOG TREAT!!!" so I'm like "ACK!" and I spit it out. Didn't taste bad, though. Didn't really have a flavour at all... O_o
The other time my mom gets me some cereal (Wheaties), but they've been in the pantry for a long while. So, I'm eating them, when I notice something black floating in them... I think it's string or something, so I fish it out with my spoon... "MOM!!! THERE'S A DEAD ANT IN MY CEREAL!!!"
I don't like wheaties anymore. T_T

I took a long gulp from one of the coloured cups at school, it wasn't until I had drained the water and was staring into the cup itself that I noticed the lovely molding piece of cucumber someone had thought clever to shove in there. Of course, its far beyond the kitchen staff to actually wash anything these days.

Oddly enough I have never eaten anything which had bugs/dirt/etc... in it. But I do remember my aunt bringing bags of salted treats from Pakistan and when I was inspecting the bags, I saw bugs. I started to freak out (Because I think I ate some of the treats -- So wait, I did eat something which had a bug in it...Yuck!) and I threw the bag away.
But other than that, I always inspect my food. I don't trust food from anyone.

I can't remember anything gross Iv'e eaten. but when I was at my inlaws, I was REFILLING *<--key word* a cup for my son and neice.....now kids cups have rubber stoppers in them to prevent them form leaking.
Now for some reason I happened to look inside the top...and the rubber stopped was completly black with mold. Now I had told them over and over again...take the stoppers out of the lid before you put them in the dishwasher. They still don't. You would have figured my yelling would have made something click.....

Once my friend had some powdered doughnuts at lunch that the cafeteria sells. She ate some at lunch and brought the rest home. She was about to eat it until... she noticed something green and fuzzy on the bottom of the doughnut. x.x

Just a few weeks ago, my mom gave me a slice of papaya. I hate papayas, but she forced me to eat it anyway under the grounds of "it's healthy!" So I scooped, ate a bite, and noticed it was kinda bland and hard, then scooped a second time, and put it in my mouth...
Then I saw a huge black spot on the indentation I made in the papaya, and when I removed the scoop from my mouth...it was all black too. Ewww. I looked on the outside skin of the papaya, and that very spot was rotten and moldy.
At least now I can worm my way out of eating papayas. :D

My mom makes me eat papayas, too! And, I too hate them... Yuck!
Well, one time when I was really young my mom cut me a peach, and there were frozen ants inside the peach... I didn't have to eat it, so I got off the hook.

But I like peaches AND papayas!
I remembr eating all sorts of stuff with hair in it...
Once in china I was eating this caramel flavor lollypop, until I got to the inside, found a hard thing, and bit it, and it was CRUNCHY!
After I looked at it, I realized it was a cricket.
Not too bad, I've eaten worse.

Oooo I know those lollypops! One time on a class trip we went to the Liberty Science center and that those lollypops and these weird blocks of candy with worms inside. It was supposed to be insects and bugs in amber, but it was NASTY! Everyone thought they were the coolest thing ever and just about everyone but me bought one. Couldn't even look at them.
X.X
And you ate Frosty Paws? *points up* I think you need a hug.
