Thanks for your input, guys. I've been debating restaurants whenever someone suggests one, and with your perspectives, it's a lot easier.

First of all, Lent is about giving up something that is difficult for you to give up. For me, that would be fast food. I don't plan on depriving myself of all restaurant food simply because I've decided to give up fast food.
Second of all, Lent is Lent. You don't need to put quotes around it just because you're incredulous about its existence or because you don't follow it. Lent is a personal thing, and I don't knock your personal beliefs.
