If you were born in the 80's or 90's, you probably might remember some of the old TV shows and even toys of the time. I have noticed many toys being resurrected from the past:
    Rainbow Bright (80's)
    Sky Dancers (90's)
    My Little Pony (80's & 90's)
    He-Man (80's)
    Popples (80's)
    Tamagotchi (90's)
    Mortal Kombat (90's)
    Carebears (80's)
    Angelina Ballerina (80's)

Hey! What about people born in the 70's? Like me :P I remember Rainbow Bright, but I think it's spelled Brite. I had the doll, records and books :P. Loved My Little Pony, would watch it every morning before school when I was in 4th and 5th grade, along with Moondreamers. Also remember He-Man (although I kinda preferred She-Ra), Popples (had a comic book), Carebears (had a couple). Tamagotchi and Mortal Kombat, I remember but I didn't have anything to do with them cause I was too old by the time those came along. And I never heard of Angelina Ballerina.

Oh I loved DangerMouse! Penfold was so cute :P

Oh, I just remembered something else too! The Pound Puppies! They came in that little pink and purple bus playset!

I think I still have my Pound Puppy somewhere. I think it's in my storage shed....I just couldn't give it up lol. Maybe it will be worth some money someday.

*sings*
Pinwheel, pinwheel, spinning around.
Look at my Pinwheel and see what I've found.
Pinwheel, pinwheel, where have you been?
Hello, how are you, and may I come in?
Pinwheel, pinwheel spinning around.
Look at my Pinwheel and see what I found.
Pinwheel, pinwheel, breezy and bright.
Spin me good morning, spin me good night.

I loved that show. It would be on all morning. I'd wake up, watch a bit, go to school (kindergarten), come home for lunch, and it'd still be on :P.
Also liked Today's Special.

Is that with Munching Mike and Annie Apple and Clever Cat? I always used to wonder why Kissing Cousins represented X. Now I know it's because xxxx are another symbol for kisses. I can't help getting the disturbing feeling that Letter Land were promoting incest...

no, no, no. we're talking about two different shows.

Ahh poop. *visibly wilts* Does anyone else remember those? I had the books when I was tiny. This is going back to the mid eighties though.

Dude, I still have all of mine somewhere in my closet, haha. I loved those too. I had like fifteen of the little playsets. I was addicted to them, and I would spend ages setting them up and putting all of the furniture in and making up stories to go along with it, haha. I was very organized about it, too. At one point, I had a list of names that I had made up for each little 'doll', and along with that, a list of what playset they 'lived' in, if they had relations to any of the other dolls... Everything. Haha, I was a dork. Haven't changed much since then. ;)

Ah, Polly Pocket. I had a billion of those too. Matter of fact, I found my magnetic one in my old toy box a few weeks ago. (There was this magnet underneath it you would control and she would walk around town.) So two friends and I decided to make a movie out of it. Her getting up, getting chased my a dog, catching her boyfriend kissing another girl...oh it was so much fun! ^___^

Heh. I didn't have any male Polly Pocket dolls, so I always had to pretend that Polly's boyfriend just had long hair (now that I think of it, none of my PPs had semi-short or short hair, either).

And wore a skirt.

Figures that my only masculine-ish PP wore a skirt.

can't find the sig from this set, so instead, you get a <3 .

I know! The old ones and myself spent many hours of fun together. They messed them up completely. Why did they change them, anyway? I demand they make a new line of toys called "Polly Pocket Classic" so I can have a decent toy to give to little kids.

And if Angelina Ballerina was a dancing mouse, I belive American Girl revived them.

I remember Rainbow Bright and Strawberry Shortcake. I would rent the videos constantly. And my Tea Bunnys. All my old Tea Bunnys are with a little todler I know. She loves 'em to bits.

I noticed that they are being brought back but they aren't really the same as they were back then. Strawberry Shortcake, alone, looks totally different; the CareBears have bigger heads and they are more rounded; even Rainbow Brite has more of an oval shaped head than the rounded-apple shape she had before. I loved the old styles of the toys and characters but not how everything is getting little changes here and there. I remember when Polly Pocket was so modern and now she has EVERYTHING. lol

That made me spit grape juice all over my computer :roflol:

I had a ton of Polly Pockets...I used to make up insane stories with them being attacked by cannibals and such, because I was (and still am, come to think of it) a twisted little girl  I made these huuuuuuuge forts for them out of playing cards...then someone would come in my room and knock them over, and I'd get all mad.

Awww, you had your forts knocked over too? I would make homes for my toys out of cardboard cereal boxes and such. Then my mom would either throw them out, my brother would rip them apart or I would forget about them and then wonder why there was a crayon decorated Rice Krispies box in the middle of my floor. :P

You know, I saw the new Sky Dancers commercial and I think I want one. Just for old time's sake.

Yeah, I saw that too. I remmber my old Sky Dancers. I loved to play with them for ages when I was three, four, and maybe five. :) I might have them buried in a box in a basement, but I'm not sure. And I'd like to buy one too, just to remember old times, like when I played w/ them in St. Thomas. They were fun. And dangerous!

O____O;;

...Wow. I always knew they were a bit dangerous even with the nice little foam around the wings. Sheesh, was she alright?
I can imagine her telling that story to all her friends years later. "Yup, got hit in the eye with a Sky Dancer."
