Might I remind everyone that some of this debate doesn't belong here (it belongs in the Debate usergroup.) If it continues, the thread will be locked.

In the case of the person coming back from the "dead", what about resuscitation? If someone flatlines during surgery, should they be left to die instead of resuscitated? Not everyone is a DNR patient. This is another form of resuscitation.

Or eat their brains, as is appropriate conduct among zombies.

And if said brains have already been gotten tooanime =D?

Indeed...

The lucky ones turn out to be perfectly normal with no brain damage — although other dogs are stricken with serious physical or behavioral problems.

Appropriate conduct require that she grunt a few times, moan and then eat their brains. It's all in the etiquette, dear.

Trust me, I watch I Wanna Be a Hilton

Dude. You can't mention the words grunt, moan and Hilton in a post unless you want to get me in trouble.

There's far too many jokes and my mind is just waiting for the flood gates to open.

Also, I'm not quite sure if this crosses the fuzzy line into Debate territory, but I'll agree with Medli that while the Bible might not actually come right out and say "Thou shalt not hook thy dog up to thy car battery and jump start him once he hath kicked the bucket," it would be frowned upon and I'm not a big fan.

Personally I find it disgusting. It made me feel sick inside. Dogs shouldn't be experimented on like that. Today, all we're worried about is ourselves. I bet the dogs feelings and well-being didn't even come into it.

now saying that opens a whole new can of worms about testing on animals... one which should probably stay in debate

I'm waiting for all these big News websites to jump out and say 'APRIL FOOLS', then I realise that my calendar is wrong.

This is the kind of stuff you hear about in movies and as theories, but never has it been publicised like this. I mean, there's something unnerving about killing something, then reviving it hours later.

But I suppose that if it helps the betterment of mankind, so be it! And as long as they fix up the whole brain damage shmozzle, I'll probably not mind recieving the treatment if I were to otherwise die a certain death.

Maybe my views are a bit strong, but I think that if you're able to rescue one person from certain death, it's worth the lives of a few animals. I won't delve into my views here, since this isn't the debate board, but I'll just stress that whilst I believe that the human life is worth more than an animal's life, I don't support the slaughter of countless animals either.

And on the religious front, I don't see anything very morally wrong with reviving a dead person. Now, I'm a strong Catholic, but I believe that the life on this earth is just as precious and important as the life after death. And if somethign like this can save lives and bring people happiness, then so be it.

Ok, I really, really want to debate this. So I made a thread in debate:
http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 519#393519

We can keep this thread open for our zombie jokes and paranoia and less controversial talks on the subject.

Anymore argumentative posts on this thread will be deleted.

But whatever do you mean? Paris Hilton is such a good little respectable girl.

They have a section for weird news. Other news sites do as well, like Yahoo.

So, Bush doesn't like Haggis or the idea of wearing a kilt. Och, shame.

on a purely personal basis;
i am deathly afraid of what lies beyond that veil (for reasons i dont wish to go into, sufficed to say ive seen bad things)
there isnt a man, women, child or animal on this world that will stand against me finding a way to cheat death.
zombie or no, i have no intention of ever giving in to death.
