what do you put on your hair to keep it looking shiny and moisturized? I had highlights and they dried out my hair and when I blow dry it the ends look frizzy and crisp. I don't have split ends, I looked for some, if I do I don't have many but lilke the blowdrying takes all the moisture out o-o. Your hair is healthy looking and you've dyed the tips more than once.
Well, my hair is naturally wavy/curly and I don't blow dry it, ever. I do straighten it fairly often with ceramic straighteners- up to 3 times a week- but I'm paranoid about wrecking my hair with bleach and heat so I make sure it's super-conditioned. I have highlights too, thought they are growing out.
Pure coconut oil left for at least an hour before washing hair (it needs washing out thoroughy though). Don't need to do that everytime you wash your hair, and it's the only time I ever use high-lather shampoo.
Only use a small amount of shampoo otherwise- just shampoo on your head, and when you rinse your hair the rest of your hair will be sufficiently cleaned by this. The lengths of your hair don't need shampooing, and it helps dry them out.
Low lather shampoo or sulfate-free shampoo is good too.
I also use a conditioner that says it's for 'parched' hair, by gum, but you can't get it in the US, meh. With conditioner it is a matter of finding the right one though. Anyhoo, when I wash my hair I shampoo, condition, rinse out the conditioner and then use leave-in conditioner for super-condition.
