How do I put ringtones on my phone anyway?

I know on my phone... I go Main Menu-->Media Services-->Download Ringtunes.

I know on some of my friends' phones its Main Menu-->Settings-->Sound Settings-->Ringtunes-->Download Ringtunes.

I don't have a cell phone, therefore, no ringtone. I would probably have something by John Reuben, Relient K, Family Force 5, or something like that.
Although...my mom has Billy Joel's We Didn't Start the Fire, and my dad has Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall. They have the same phone, so that's how we tell them apart.

I've got different ones for different people. My best friend is "On Love, In Sadness" by Jason Mraz, some of my other friends are "Funny Little Feeling" by the Rock N' Roll Soldiers, my brother is "Bubbles" by System of a Down, the guy I like is "For the Longest Time" by Billy Joel, my parents are "Ramalama (Bang Bang)" by Roisin Murphy, and everyone else is "Banana Phone" by Raffi.

Default. I want actual ringtones, but my mom won't let me download any 'cause they're kinda expensive.

Mine's been changed to "Thoughtless" by Evanescence.

Just gotten the bluetooth and memory card and all sorted out with mine. =D At the moment, I've put everyone on "Seasons of Love" from Rent - haven't bothered to mess around with individual ones yet.

It depends on your phone and your service provider. I have a Verizon v3m Razr. Cool phone, but Verizon lames it down. Usually, Razrs can connect to a computer, where you can download ringtones onto your phone. But since I have Verizon, I have to either use one of Verizon's ringtone services (which you can access through your phone - there's a whole list of choices) or I can find a online site that caters to Verizon and have them send me a ringtone via text message (which is what I did for my ringtones).

heh heh-- I go back and forth between the Raiders of the Lost Ark theme and the theme to the old tv show Sanford and Son.

I downloaded three ringtones in the past month.
Currently I'm using: "Papercut Skin" by the Matches.
I also have:
"The Queen and I" by Gym Class Heroes.
"[can't remember title] by Nightmare of You
