A libertarian?
Basing my answer on what I've read on Libertarianism, I'd say no; Liberal, not Classical Liberal. If you'd be willing, I'd be much obliged if you would ask me some questions to help you and me try to clarify whether or not I'm a Libertarian.

I'm sure I'm more "left" than the Democrats. They aren't really "liberal" on the grand scheme of themes anyway. They're just more left than the Republicans. American politics is pretty conservative overall.
I believe that the Democrats are on the political center, not left. . . . and it seems to me you may agree with that. I'm reminded of the following from a recent post by Michael Wong at his SD.net forum:
Quote:
According to the media, the centre is actually the "left", and the actual left does not exist. And this is a fairly recent development. It was widely recognized in the media and among all political analysts that Bill Clinton moved the Democratic party to the centre in the early 1990s, and it was even lauded openly as a brilliant political strategy. Now the Democrats are viewed as "the left" by the media and by large swathes of the idiot public, even though everyone just 15 years ago knew that they were moving to the centre.
