Find other people with good ringtones and get them to bluetooth them to you. Or, even better, get a bluetooth USB thing for your computer (I got mine for something like a fiver off amazon) and bluetooth music from your computer to your phone.
(I'd give this advice to everyone who's whining about ringtones, but I know that Razrs have bluetooth, and don't know about everyone else's phones. Seriously, though, bluetooth is the most amazing thing ever. =D)

or infared? I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure you can do the same with with infared.
My phone is always on vibrate.
