I love them, but I wish they lasted longer. You wait for an hour and then the ride lasts 1 minute.
Actually, it only seems like it lasts for one minute, but most last for a little over two minutes. In fact, the shortest coaster I know of is a cloned Batman: The Ride at SFMM, which lasts a minute and thirty-two seconds, or something around there. *nods*
Yes, I do love roller coasters. My brother got really interested in them a few years ago, and he keeps up with coaster news and things like that, so generally I end up finding out quite a bit about roller coasters.
I'm not too fond of giga coasters (With a lift of at least 300 feet) and strata coasters (With a lift of at least 400 feet) but I can stand hyper coasters. I've only really been on one of those, Goliath at SFMM in Valencia, California. I was actually terrified when we were going up the lift hill, so terrified that I was crying. I'd never been on a hyper coaster before that, you see, and the lift was 220 feet off the ground, so I was a bit intimidated. It actually proved out to be rather fun, except for the fact that the helix near the end had about 4.5 Gs on it, which made me rather sick.
My favorite kind of coaster would probably have to be the flying coaster, but preferable and Bolliger and Mabillard Flying, not one of the Vekoma Flying Dutchmans. *shivers* Ugh. I can't stand those things. We have one at Carowinds (The Paramounts park closest to where I live) and it's awful. It's horribly unreliable. I remember the first time that I wanted to ride it, my brother was nervous about riding it because every few times it ran, the anti rollback dog on the lifthill would stop while the train was still ascending. That's pretty awful, especially considering that the ride op didn't know what was wrong with it. *sighs and shakes head*
Erm... Yesh. I think you get the gist.
