Instant messaging is really the way to develop close friendships here. Anubis randomly added me, we talked for a few days, and now we talk almost every day. Try to find people who share interests and then IM them to talk.

I don 't have any friends here either....well im friends with Dragonfire though because I know him from Neo-Galaxy that's how we met

I didn't make a friend until when I had around 500 posts or so (on the old forums of course). I just posted on a board a lot of other people posted on (mainly Atty and Niten) and we became fwiends. :3

When I first signed up, my only friends were Yukina, Tailseh and Rikku. I slowly started to make some more friends. It never really bothered me.

I didn't start talking to people outside of the boards until about December last year. Now, there's a bunch of people who I talk to reguarly. You'll make friends, it just may take some time.
