*hugs* I know what you're going through, I've had an aunty die of cancer and my two grandmothers passed away.
Just try and spend as much time as you can with him. If you can't see him in person, call him. You'll appreciate it if/when he passes on.
It may seem harsh, but at least you've got some warning. My grandmother died unexpectly - she was one of the healthiest people we knew, and she had a heart attack and died in the middle of the night. At least with the others, I knew that they would be dying in a month or two.

I can't... He can't talk. He can't even lift his head.
Well looks like I am going to be going to maine tomorrow... *sigh* chances are going down hill...
Wish me luck... I'm goin' to Maine. It's got real bad.
