I think tatoos are fine as long as the method used to create them is safe (sterile needles).
I don't have any, nor do i want any. I look fine without them.

I'm getting some wings done on my back as soon as I can afford it. I'm having ones that fill most of the top half of my back though.

I like tatoos, I myself want one, like maybe on my back or ankle. Though I don't want to many. I only think I don't like about tatoos is that I'm afraid it will hurt when they put the tatoo on! >,<

I don't have a problem with people getting tattoos, in fact I know quite a number of people that have them. I can never decide if I want one or not, this is mainly because I'm indecisive so I'd have trouble choosing a design that I'd still like years down the track (best I've been able to come up with is one that represents me with respect to the countries I have ties to). Not only that but I don't like the idea of needles, let alone the pain of getting a tattoo done.

I don't have anything against tattoos, but for myself I really wouldn't want a permanant picture on my skin.

I'd love to have a tattoo when I am older, in my young 20's perhaps. I don't have any idea what it would be, but something *small* on a fleshy part of my body - it hurts more if you get it done on a boney part, right? Well, that's what I've heard. I'd love one on the side of my stomach or on my thigh...maybe my upper arm.

I've heard many versions of where it hurts most.
I've heard over bony parts (such as hands, and skull), and i've heard over major muscle masses or nerve centers (lower back, calf muscles...).
I think overall that it depends on the person.
I've heard some peopel say it hurt a lot, and others say that it felt like someone scratching lightly at their body for a very long time.
*shrugs*
Don't know myself... yet. *shifty eyes*

I don't really want a tattoo. But I'm okay with them ^_^ Not many people I know have tattoos, but even if they did, I wouldn't mind.

I wanna get what the heck written across my left bicep or ankle. ^__^
Everytime I look at that I have to stop and drool. I don't really like horses, but I love the design. Its just so awesome! I can picture my aunt with that on her ankle, its just so... *sigh* its just great.

I have a tatoo of a cobra wrapped around my arm (no it doesn't connect

). I have a personal reason for this tatoo, but I have to say the type of tatoos I admire (and the people that get them) would be the shirts and sleeves like asians (is that japanese?) have. I think too many tatoos can be bad, but only if they don't fit together well. I see them as personal symbol... each one tells a story. (Illustrated Man - Ray Bradbury) It's all art and so each piece has to 'fit', ya know?

I don't mind tattoos. I've never had the urge to run out and get one. But...you know to each his/her own. And it depends on the person whether a lot of tattoos are attractive.
If I ever got a tattoo, it would be "Porcelain" in purple script. I'm not sure where though.
I dont' remember who said it, but someone said they wanted a lizard behind their ear. That would hurt...bad! If the ankle is one of the worst places...because of all the bone, and not a lot of fat, then behind the ear would have to be torture!
I did always want to get my tongue pierced though. But that's a whole different subject.

I'm not bothered by tattoos, but if I was to get one, I'd get one of something that was really special to me and significant in some way.

I dont like them, from what I hear, they really hurt, and they are permant, not like pen, I tend to think downly of someone with them, knowing many people have a sad obsession with them - especially Allen Inverson

Gezus, that guy has ones on his chest and neck - now that is just scary.

I love tattoos and I have 3 of them.
Don't really care what people think about people who have them.. not your body so don't worry about it... ya know?
Do I want more? No... I'm happy with the ones I have.
And no.. I'm not some weirdo who enjoys pain.. I can just tolerate it sometimes if it's in the way of something I want
Anyways... my 3 tattoo's...
One on my right calf. It's the head (profile view) of a howling wolf with a blue crescent moon behind it.
One on my left hand between my first finger and thumb.. heh.. it's a homemade one that I didn't finish b/c I kept hitting a nerve

lol
And one on my back is of a faerie coming out of a flower that I drew. It covers my entire upper to mid back. Took about +5 hours to do and it hurt like crazy... imagine someone taking a razor blade and constantly slashing your back for 5hours straight... that's about what it felt like to me

lol

I don't have any tatoos. I always think about getting them, but then I think that I will have them until I'm old and who wants to see a tatoo on an old woman.

The temporary kind are fine for me.
If I did get one, it'd be a flower anklet or a butterfly on my ankle or lower back. I have seen someone once with a really cool pentagram on her right shoulder. It was small and really pretty. It was done with gold and roses twirling through it. Very nice, but I don't know if I'd have the courage to do that.
