I faced some bullying in elementary school (ironically, a Christian one). People who formerly were my friends became surprisingly discriminant of others (I guess they just got tired and ignorant of the message my school kept trying to raise everyone into), and I couldn't stand for it myself, so I became one of the ones teased. Luckily, it was only during the end of elementary- and none of them are in my current high school.

High school seems surprisingly a lot more welcome (public and secular). Although I retain the same attitude as I did in elementary, people actually respect me for it, contrary to in elementary where it was commonplace. Sure, I occasionally get a few snyde remarks, but most of it is made in good fun now, and there's nothing directed to me that was as bad as it was in elementary.

Was bullied and still am. In elementary I had only one friend and she had a "disability" or so the school called it. (She only has four fingers and one arm is shorter than the other.) So I often got made fun and bullied for being her friend.

In middle school I had two friends. One of them was overweight and the other was sort of...well she was a little crazy, obsessive and very outgoing. I got tortured for being friends with them. O__O; And I still am.

I'm a sophomore in high school, and it's not as bad as it used to be. But I'm known for having a gay best friend and I often get taunted for that. And I often get bullied for my looks, mostly by guys who think they're cool. I'm pretty much over being bullied, it doesn't get to me anymore. It hurts, of course it does, but not as bad as it used to.

all the time, mostly by the "popular kids". they harass me because I'm too polite all the time. I can't believe I'm getting tortured because I use my manners.

I've never been bullied. No one really bothers me, I have my friends, and they're definitely...an interesting variety of people, all from various types and groups in the school.

So I guess I'm lucky. :)

Yep. Still am.

When I was a doopy little 5th grader, I had my 3 month 'I wanna be popular' stage. Thats the only time the bullying every affected me.

Im still called names, but I laugh at them. They dont get that I enjoying being strange, and being called names like loser (if you couldnt guess).

The only thing that gets me though, is that I am made fun of for being girl. I thought by 8th grade, we are past that stage

And also, Im really offened when the gudiance counsoler assumes Im normal, and that I want to fit in. There are also the select teachers who get a bit mad at my friends who call me loser. They just dont get it.

Hmm.. I used to really let it get to me, now its a case of if you have to go so low as to harrass someone else, your not worth the time it takes to tell you off.

But for me, its not names and whatnot anymore. You know, people will always have their fun saying "Oh shes a lazy jerk and shes dirty" and whatnot. What gets to me now is the fact no one talks to me. Unless theres someone I know in the class, no one talks to me. I'll ask if I can borrow a pen, they'll give it to me. At the end of the class, they'll tap my desk to ask for it back. No words spoken. That's what hurts.

No. Bully me and I roll my eyes at you/come back with something you can't reply to. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to punch anyone's lights out.

Even though I've never experienced it, I'd never put up with it. I had a friend called Verity, and one day some idiot comes up to her and calls her Very Tarty. So I tell her straight out that she must have had help making the name up, because her IQ wasn't large enough, and marched my friend away. :)

Then, over MSN this other girl (still about Verity) told me to go "play with her" (as in, talk to her/swing on swings with her, etc.), and I said, "Sure! It's much more interesting than talking to you!"

People never really bully me. I'm not popular, I'm not fault-less, but I am quite an imposing figure. I am always pretending to punch and kick my friends, and if we weren't all smiling and laughing you would think I was the meanest girl in the world. I'm sure people talk about me behind my back. I actually heard them once; they were practically shouting.

I've never been bullied. My friends span many different levels of popularity, and I everything odd I do is just accepted as me being myself.

As for people talking about me behind my back...I'm sure people do; however, ignorance is bliss. I don't really care what anyone says.

No, I've always kinda blended with the crowd, and the bullies really had no excuse to bully me, since i'm pretty average. And I always had a lot of friends that would back me up. In my school, its always the very vulnerable kids that actually are targeted by bullies, kids that don't have any friends, or just anti-social people. And when i got to high school, noone is rwally physically bullied anymore, everyone just talks behind their back instead.

I know I was talked about behind my back.
But other than that, no one ever really bothered me.
I was just the average chubby girl in black walking around the school who minded her own business.

I think I was pretty fortunate to go to schools where bullying wasn't really all that common.
Now I'm sure it did happen to people, but it wasn't as bad as some would think it would be.

I remember one time in the 7th grade. This kid was getting picked on for some reason by these jerks. And in the class we all finally had enough of it b/c they started making him cry and the whole class completely blew up at the bullies.
Not sure if we stopped them from doing it to him later on but they never did it in that class again.

I was terribly quiet in Grade School. Shy, Polite, Nice, Bad At Sports, I had "that" syndrome. Soo I wasn't exactly popular, per se. Which meant I had no right to "like" certain people and to talk to others. Pity I didn't know it then. I was pretty much teased so much in third grade that it physically hurt.

Now in Middle School, it's totally different. I still get teased but it's not the same. There's a bigger diversity. More of "my kind" here. So a lot of people think I'm weird and a lot of people hate me because I can stand up to them..

But I only got bullied in the third grade.
