i found out that we chew our finger nails because it dates back to our ancestors who bit them for personal grooming.

Yep and the reason people pick thier noses is because our fish ancestors had to pick the fishing hooks out.

I enjoy how this topic, instead of being full of "i bite my nails" and "sometimes I leave the taps running", turned into people competing to have the most exciting and unique ****phobia or conditions.

Hardly...?

The last couple of pages have not mentioned anything about phobias, and about 50% of the posts have involved biting or chewing, mostly fingernails.

I have a really bad habit of always combing my fingers through my hair. My hair gets kind of frizzy, and it bothers me a lot, so I try to smooth it down. I just got in the habit of doing it too often.

I also talk way too loud sometimes. I start out talking at an average volume, but I eventually get louder until you can practically hear me over everyone else. :oops:

People stare at me sometimes when I do that.

Rawr. I keep chewing on the moodring I got.

...did you know that if you get the other side of a moodring wet, it changes colour? XD I licked it (don't ask) and it changed like five colours. Then I put it back on my finger and it went back to dark blue. :roflol:
