Dubai ^_^
I go there every christmas. Now that view from your balcony I kinda reconize the stuff below. Is that the Jumerah? Are you still in dubai? And most importantly have you gone to the Gold Suk (can't spell that)?. They have walls upon walls of gold stuff over there. If you're still in Dubai and haven't gone..I urge you to go!
I'm gonna be in Dubai around the 19th or 20th of December give or take a few days. I'm staying there for 3 weeks

Tell me you tried the body surfing in that little wave thing. That thing is amazing ^_^ I've spent about 4 weeks of my life on the ride. Honestly its so much fun. And you really learn cool stuff on the long run.

I tried everything when I went, but don't remember any specifics - but was still a pretty awesome memory. Also my sister hurting both her elbows in the "beach" thing with the huge waves - is that what you were talkin about?

Ill show you pictures (they are at the wild wadi 
). These were taken the first time i did some so they are nothing spectacular. I have a video of me doing a trick or 2 but a video would take ages to upload with my internet connection.
You might reconize the place a little. This is the first ride you see when you come into the park (unless you're coming for the jumerah enterance)

When I saw this picture at first it was Schlitterbahn but then I read the post.
I took a look at the Wild Wadi website... Pssht, Schlitterbahn is so much better. And it looks like Wild Wadi was designed by the people who made Schlitterbahn because all the rides look the same. And there's a ride area in Schlitterbahn called the Master Blaster. <_<
AND there's a ride just like the one in the picture at the entrance to Schlitterbahn. xD

No, we were staying at the Oasis Beach Hotel. And nope, I'm back at home now haha, we did go to the Gold Suk but it was 50 degree C heat and we were all realllly grumpy so I don't think we enjoyed it as much as we should have.
I did go to the Wild Wadi which I loved. Sadly, that bikini I am wearing in the picture parted company with my top half so all the locals got an eyeful... Literally, most embarrasing moment of my life.

Its like Wild Wadi was built to take swimsuits off. I almost lost my swimming trucks more then once. The decided on putting something underneath. Pretty happy I did. Cause my swimming trucks slide way down my legs
