What's the first thing you remeber about PPT?

Of course getting a PM isn't near as frightening of a thought now as it was when they put in that bugs bunny sound... now that used to really scare me.

I remember that. For the first few months I didn't realize it made a sound, and I would get the sound every now and then, and I thought I had a virus on my computer. XD

It took me a few days before I figured out that you could turn that off. I have a feeling Jim kept sneaking into my account and turning it back on, though. It would randomly go off when I got PMs.

I remember making an account on the YaBB Boards...
...and not doing anything with it.

Then I remembered I had an account here and went to use it, but found phpBB boards instead. So I created a new one (October 2002 or 2003, I forget which) with a better name and used that.

I also remember Jim's old Mutant Kacheek set, as well as my terrible ones. And also how I avoided the RP board because I didn't like RPing, but then I realized it was exactly what me and my brother did when we were younger, only in text form. So I liked them after all.

(Off topic, but FireFox 2 has a spell checker that checks everything your write on the 'net. I just noticed that. Fun times, fun times.)

Well, you have the CCC. I remember that.

And I suddenly couldn't log in because my name had special characters. So did Cheese's.

But, then the mods decided the CCC was scary, (even though it was harmless), and they *disappeared*.

I was googling "Neopets font" and found it... a download from PPT I guess after that I kept coming back cos it was so cool... and now I have an RSS feed from My Yahoo! to PPT.

I also remember trying to look for the staff member interviews

I'm scared of getting PMs. When I see the "You have 1 new message" (or sometimes the "You have 2 new messages"), I panic, and I try to figure out if I've done anything wrong recently. I think that's the only remaining bit of my old staffophobia.

Oooh, I remember that. I think I continually voted for HL for some reason. Rather ironic, as I later acquired an enormous crush on him (that's now fully gone, worry not).

At the same time as I did. I'm trying to delete that from my memory. It was embarrassing...I always get really obsessive.

I remember the Chatbox. Fun times. Lots of very fun times. And then of course the time warp...that messed up my sense of time permanently...today is the third, right? (Kidding, in case you couldn't tell. )

first memory is being too scared to join the werewolf game, but the nTom encouraged me to join, and I joined SNak's Simpsons game. I still maintain that it's the best WW game I've played to date x)

My first memory is posting that I'd been hacked, and Morningstar sent me a PM that made me feel really good. (: Then -blur-, then me playing Werewolf 10, and being really slow and failing to pick up most things. I got to the final 3 and did terribly. I was on Matt and Stephanie's team.

I remember that I was afraid of Alexandra (Xela of Xandra, now) (Also, how very embarassing). And then a few months later we ended up in a sacred quartet (now QEFYOG). Funny how that works.
