Argh. Does the water then go back to clear eventually (one would hope)?

Yeah, it dissipates and then refilters and then comes out 'clean' (I use that term lightly). It's a wave pool, so I suspect strongly that not everyone gets caught. And i've never seen it myself. But whatever.

I always thought that was an urban myth. It seems like it would be really expensive to fill a pool with such a chemical.

I came in here thinking "Of course I've peed in a pool" when i think back at it. I have never peed in a pool in my entire life 0.o Its something I thought I had done but I haven't.

As for the ocean....quite a few times.

Once, in the ocean when I was swept out by a riptide.
I think you can guess why.

I saw a sign in a pool once that said, "Welcome to our Ool! Notice there's no P in it. Let's keep it that way."

Could be. Having never seen it, I don't know. But WEM does have a fair bit of moolah. It's too bad they keep that place so dirty (it's really not that nice), because it's got some fun slides and stuff. And the wave pool crush is a blast so long as people with tubes don't run you over.

So based on what everyone is saying, we've all done it at least once, which makes the probability of someone doing it as well when we're in the pool very likely. I shall never swim again.
