I've always wanted the name Lake, I think I'm going to name a future kid of mine Lake. Maybe spell it differently, like Laik or Lech.
Please not "Lech". It's an abbreviation of the word 'lecherous' and I'd pity any kid with a name like that.

I know an Araxme. Not sure of the spelling, but it's pronounced A raaaahcks me.
The only reason I remember is because we had to do a memory journal and that was the first word in hers when I edited it.

To be fair if you look at the route of many names you should feel pity.
My name means Horse lover. And is ancient greek.

My name means Sheep. I think I'd rather be a horse lover than a creature who will follow its leader off a cliff or into a fire. Also sheep smell worse than horse people, or at least in my experience they do--and I live in the "horse capital of the world."

Lol Philip? Here's my situation:
Crowds: "ZOMG ITS JESUS!"
Me: "Eh?"
Jesus: "Hello my children, is there anyone around called Christopher?"
Me: "Uh...yeah. Over here Jesus"
Jesus: "Carry me!"
Me: "Not again..."

I have a neice named Kairi. It's pronounced Kylie except with a R instead of the L. It means in Japanese, ocean village. Or possibly french meaning song. But I think it is a lovely.
An old friend of mine just had a baby boy two weeks ago called Mica. I think it is a bit strange.

Don't pretend you've never said things like that about a person. I'm only being honest.

"Oh lord, won't you buy me...a mer-ced-es BENZ!"
Heh. I can't think of anyone I know off the top of my head who had a weird name. That said...I took a Mayan Kaqchikel language class in the spring, and we all got to know our Mayan names (they are day-based). Mine was Ixmasat, which means deer (the "ix" just signifies female). It's pronounced Eesh-masat. My friend was Ixb'alam, which is jaguar (awesome!). My other friend, a guy, was Waqi Kat, which is Six Snake.
