I say lol like lawl my friend says it like elle oh elle but my other friend says it like lowl..wierdish

Whenever I see 'LOL', I comprehend it as 'laugh alot'. I have no idea why. From the beginning I knew it was an acronym for 'laughing out loud' but every time I see it, I think to myself - laugh alot. Makes no sense, I know.
