Lauren Burns is from my town. She got a Gold Medal for Taekwandoe (sp?) in the Sydney Olympics.

well, apparently, my sisters PE teachers brother went to school with Orlando Bloom, erm, and I think he lives in the town next to mine, but i have never seen him

My cousin in Edmonton went to the same school as Adam Gregory i think. He's a country singer if you don't know

J.Robin Miller : Actress. She plays (or played, I don't watch the show) Lydia Karenin Cassadine on General Hospital.

Well, Uzi Hitman was born in my town, but you probably don't know him, but he's really well known in Israel.

He came to my school last year... I still remember it so good. Poor guy.

Nobdy from my actual town, but apperently 14 people I've never heard of are from the city right next to my town.
Pat Sajak (host of Wheel of Fortune) lives in the other town next to mine.

I know it's not exactly the same, but my boyfriend has the same name as a country music star who recently hit it big. Sorta funny because I knew about the guy before my boyfriend did. About 6 months before he was big, I was doing a google search on my boyfriend's name (come on you know you've done it too) and it came up with results about this young country singer. I didn't think much about it and didn't really mention it to anyone, but 6 months later my boyfriend and his whole family are in the car and the radio says "And now _______'s new country hit ________!" And his whole family spun around kinda like "What have you been doing without telling us?" He told me about it later and I was like "Oh that guy, yeah I knew, you mean he actually hit it big?" Now whenever he starts singing off key (it happens quite frequently) I tell him "Be quiet, you're no _________!"

The Proclaimers went to the school down the road from me, they were in my uncle's class. (The Proclaimers are a scottish band and they sang (sung?) that song "I would walk 500 miles. and I would walk 500 more..." etc. I'm sure the song was in a film but I can't remember which one it was.)

And I think they sang "I'm on My Way" from Shrek

and what a great province it is! *waves his Ontario flag*

Well, I grew up here and an actor who was on that Animorphs show lived here for awhile as well.
