Another day of NaNo finished for me. I wouldn't mind going a bit longer, but the next scene I'm writing is a very important one to me, so I'd rather start it tomorrow when I can spend as much time as necessary on it. Besides, the halls surrounding my office are starting to randomly flood, so I might find myself being forced to leave work a bit early if they can't get the leak stopped. Eep.

bad me >_< ... I know what I want to write about though :)

LOL Syrill... best of luck to you.

13k-ish for me.

Gah, I procrastinated tonight. But I still got 14278. (which is ahead of Wind... :P)

Hope I hit 15k tonight, although I'm tired, so I don't think I will.

I think I'll just spend all day Sunday writing something new. I don't write unless I'm on my computer, because I have problems trying to write in a notebook. I give up when I use a notebook.

I'm the exact opposite as you! I can't write on the computer AT ALL, unless I've planned something beforehand. I really can't. I sit there staring for hours. Or I get distracted by something like PPT or MSN...

See, my other computer has no Internet connection. Aha!

I'm lagging so much. I only have 4,000. I re-wrote the 2,000 I had and somehow came up with 2,000 more words.

I have to write all weekend. We have a three-day weekend, so that helps. :)

Ugh, it's a good thing I got a bit ahead of schedule on Monday, because I didn't come close to my usual 4k/day word goal. Thankfully, I'm still on target, and technically, I've got 1/4 of tomorrow's word goal done, but I'm still disappointed by my lack of motivation and progress. Bad moods do not go very well with NaNo, it seems.

I think I have 37 words, I just scrapped my other story because it was bullognia.

Remember -- the quality of the words don't count. Just strike-through anything you really don't want, but it all counts toward your 50K.

Yeah, scrap the scrapped idea, its crap. I think I'll go on my original story.

And.. The reason I quoted that..
When you said that, I got the impression of a story that the whole thing is along the lines of...
Jane walked up to Bob. Bob saw Jane. Jane saw Bob! Bob was scared. Bob was a boy, Jane was a girl!

I'm doing pretty well. I haven't finished typing what I wrote today, but I'm going to get pretty close to the 15k I'm supposed to be at, then I can write more onto it.

Can you imagine doing that for 50k words, though? As if nano weren't insanity enough!

Sounds like a fun challenge. And no, I will not be trying it. ^_-

Anyway, another rather blah day of writing. I hate it when I'm in an awkward stage of the story. Transitioning between major arcs is very difficult for me, since I tend to write in great detail (which drags out the transitions into something boring). This ends up meaning that while I'm a bit over halfway done with the NaNo word count requirements, I know I'm not even a quarter of the way done with the story that I'm writing. Much, much, much less than a quarter of the way done, most likely. I'm just through the introduction portion of the story, I haven't really hit the plot yet. And actually getting to the plot itself scares me, making it very hard to keep moving forward.

Are you going to make a continuation next year? It sounds like an awful lot to pack in.

No, I'll just finish it sometime after NaNo is done. Hopefully I'll be done by NaNo next year... O_o; I thought I read that the goal is just to make it to the 50k, whether the "novel" is complete or not...right?

Actually, this will probably be my only year doing NaNo. I'm currently in a job that doesn't really require me to do anything except be available to take care of anything that crops up (very rare), so I have lots of time to write without it interfering with the tiem I spend with my husband. I doubt that will be the case next year, and I'm just not willing to give up my time with him.

17k-ish, but my story is drawing to a close. I need to add something to keep it going. Maybe a monkey will do the trick.

Ha, yes I can. Heh heh heh...

Yeah, I've basically given up.

Yep, that's the goal :)

I haven't written anything yet today...whoops...

I want to read Windy's story, but she didn't write it in English (Italian, perhaps?) and she has to translate it XD.

17k and a little more hopefully tonight.
