Dont be rasict or sexist please. Its not nice to say those things. -.-

Well I've been to several places in Asia, including Japan.
It's hard being a woman in Asia sometimes because a lot of places (mostly farmland and rural places) have those squat down toilets. >o>
And if you don't know what they are, they are basically a hole in the ground you do your business in.
Some fancy places have squat down toilets with FLUSHERS. ;D

I've been to FRANCE and I had to use a squat hole and I needed to do a crap, and it wasn't any easier for me, I assure you.

The squat downs are nasty. You can smell them long before you see them. When I was last in China, we visited some rural areas. Bathrooms were large pits in the ground filled with you know what and maggots.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

When I said train, I meant like taking the Amtrak from LA to Houston. No one does that anymore. However, I don't much like subways either. They're a good idea, and they help transportation, but I would avoid them at all costs.

EDIT: 1000th post! Yay!

That sounds exactly like what someone who doesn't appreciate the true beauty of japan would say. I bet you swan around watching your cheap western programmes all day, not appreciating the true genius of japanese culture. To be honest that's all I can expect of someone who lives in america. Frankly I don't know how you can sit there and argue with me that actually a great deal of japanese culture is directly inspired by western culture, and tell me rubbish like most of japan's impression of the western world comes from things like MTV. Basically you don't know anything. All the japanophobes try and argue that in reality the japanese media isn't radically different from american media - it's just a bit less restrained and more abstract. Rubbish - japan invented martial arts, the boat, the lightbulb and the curvature of light.

So take that in your pipe and smoke it.

Crap. Didn't know about that one! *adds to page 11144367 of my special book on how Japan roxxors my soxxors*

[Footnote] Curvature of light now smokable as well. Yay for Japan.

I respect Japan so much that I already started learning Japanese online :P
Japan has got every sort of entertainment you can think of, not to mention the delicacy

The only thing I don't like about Japan is the insanely high prices of things. I heard it's one of the most expensive countries in the world...

Right on 843! I've been a consistent and dedicated learner of japanese since I was 13 and let me tell you, my respect for japan skyrockets with every new phrase I learn. Sometimes people ask me "why dont you learn something like mandarin, an incredibly widely used language that would allow you the freedom to live or work in any of the many mandarin-speaking countries, as well as conversing with japanese people, many of whom speak mandarin due the countries proximity with china?" But that's a lot of rubbish. Japan is the best country in the entire world and it's population is about 1000x better than america's.

Switzerland is probably near or equal to Japan for high prices and Switzerland happened to withhold a lot of money from families whose loved ones died without a birth certificate.

Japan ftw!

It IS expensive. Only you don't realize how much money you're spending because the 100 yen (1 dollar) is a coin....
It is hot and stuff, but I like it pretty nice:)
When you come, go see the cell phones. They're simply amazing:)
