In sixth grade the smart kids used to have contests to see who could memorize the most digits of pi. Pretty fun.

Right now in America, on the Discovery Channel there is a guy who can memorize pi to 22,500 digits, called Brainman on Discovery Channel. They just showed it. Hope it is on again.

i thought it was 3.141592654 (highlights the last four) i know it because that's what showed on my calculator when you hit the pi key, and it annoyed people when i said it :) especially when i said it super fast...

(I saw that show! They also put him to a test; having him try to learn Icelandic in about a week I believe. It was a pretty interesting show. They also followed it with segments about other people with Savant Syndrome. Including the man who was the inspiration for the movie 'Rainman' with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise.)
