Sadly Gavin was doing his senior internship (you get credit for doing a job that related to your field of study). This comming year would have been his last before graduation. He was very well liked by everyone and no one seems to ever have a bad memory of him, or see him without a smile.

its a very sad day for my uni.

To be fair, everyone is a wonderful person when they die.
Something about it being taboo to speak ill of the dead, I imagine.
