I'm not much of an insect lover but I can deal with most of them just fine. Spiders on the other hand terrify me to death even if they're only half an inch. Stupidly enough I'm also scared of butterflies, I'm probably the only person in the world with this problem.

Aww! You don't have to be scared of them! They are my favorite animals (just in case that wasn't obvious). They are so gentle and delicate. What scares you about them?

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

I hate mosquitoes (spelling?) and flies.

Flies are just ugly and big, and they buzz. Once one flew up to my ear and buzzed there. :|

Mosquitoes I hate because they bite you and suck your blood. And they're so small so it feels like I could accidently eat them and not even know it.

I have no idea why I'm scared of them. The colored ones are pretty, I'll admit that but they still scare me. I'm ok with them as long as they aren't too close to me. Who knows where this fear came from :P

I'm not very fond of spiders, but my the insects I dislike the most have to be bees/wasps/hornets. I think this is because I got stung on the ear, when I was three, by a hornet. So I guess I see one of those insects and my mind jumps to pain. :P

Thanks to my arachnaphobia I loathe spiders. I also hate bees/wasps, but they aren't as bad.

I can't stand all of them, but I hate spiders the most. I freak out over extremely small ones too :(

If it's any one of the above, it'll wig me out.

Exactly the same has me....except you can add anything slimy such as slugs to that too.

I HATE catipillars. They're like worms, except with legs, you know? It's a bit creepy... this girl put one in my hair once when I was 10. Ugh. Ergh. Blech.

(He who fights with monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster). And when you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.

I HATE roaches.... HATE HATE HATE.
I don't even like going near dead ones b/c I'm afraid they're going to pull a zombie act and spring back to life and fly on me.
*shudders*

I would have said spiders, but I don't really think they are that bad. I have been working on being okay with them for a while. :)

I chose Other because the real creepy crawlies are what gets me. Earwigs both me muchly. There alsoused to be these really weird bugs in our last apartment. They were big and had a lot of legs (a lot, but not a centipede) and could go very fast. It was horrild because they'd suddenly be there. I've only ever seen like four of them and never anyplace else but that apartment for as long as I've lived. We think maybe because it was an old house and they'd come up from the cellar or something. Gah, the city has weird bugs. I'm so glad we moved back to the country. I'll take nice normal bugs anyday. ;) lol

I'm at least a little scared of all bugs, but spiders are the worst. I can't even look at photos or films of them; I've thrown books in fear after seeing a pictures of spiders in them :(

Heh.. everyone who hates spiders would just looooove to live in my house.

It's like spider central here.
Like a week ago.. we were gone all day long.. we came home and I swear... I saw the biggest spider outside of a petstore running across the kitchen floor.
The thing was HUGE, bf wanted to smoosh it but it ran behind the stove :P heh
And yeah... there are just spiders everywhere in our house.. I don't kill them b/c they help kill all the other random bugs that get in. ;)
