yeah, sew mostly fancy dress costumes, but this weekend i'm gonna give it a go at making a skirt for wearing day-to day, bought some amazing fabric at the markets the other day

My friend's prom dress. I had to show it off because the truth is, she MADE IT FROM SCRATCH. I don't know why, but I love it. I find it amazing she made her own dress. That's just awesome.

wow ammer, that is seriously amazing. She has my utmost respect. I was going to make my ball dress this year, but didnt have enough time.
and zorg, yes i can help you with a costume - any ideas what you're gonna want it to be? As fabric is waaaay cheaper here so if you knew now i could get fabric before i leave.

I have totally no idea. I think going as Cyclops (the comic book version, not the movie one) would be cool. But i want to go as something that will win me an award
But if I can get people to dress up as a parade of X-Men, that'd be wicked.
