OMG. I was going to post the same thing but got sidetracked because it was x-mas eve and all! In the morning at around 11 AM My dad noticed and then it was lightly falling, and we were all amazed. I then went to my aunts house for dinner later on and after we got back it was all OVER the roofs, cars, and grass! We had a football/snowball fight. :P Twas fun! I think this is the first time ever there has been snow in Houston!

Btw, I do believe this was because of the various hurricanes that hit Florida's coast which drastically altered some weather patterns. It was hoooooooot the whole last week until this week.

It snowed a few days ago in Dallas. It was nice, but people in Dallas are incapable of driving in rain.. It was awful with them attempting the snow/ice.

Hahah that's so cool. I remember in school... it started snowing in class and everyone got distracted... and everytime someone opened the door... everyone would go OHHHHHHHHH and it happened about 15 times... and it was great ^_^!!

Hold onto your seats people... the SL is back.

The last time there was measurable snow was in 1989, it was a measly 1.7" I believe. I don't know if its snowed anymore since last night. Whats funny is how hot it was on Tuesday, it was 72 and then the next day it was about 30ish.

I got to make use of my parents' snow scrapper gloves from when we lived in South Dakota. That was oh so fun. It's still really cold around here, though. My car refuses to heat up, so I have to spend my lunch breaks into side of the store I work in. :/

Did you guys get any more snow overnight? I thought I saw last night's news say that more snow should be pushing through the whole Houston/Austin area overnight. o_O

Up here in north Texas, we got maybe an inch or two of snow a couple of days ago. I was surprised we didn't get any more yesterday, seeing how cold it was in the morning when I went out to do some Christmas shopping.

Let's just say it was no fun getting in my car and trying to start it when it had been left out during that whole ice/snow fest.

No snow for us in the San Antonio - Austin area. :( But we got it on Valentines day, so we're content for this entire year. :lol:

Gah, I went into work early the day after it snowed because it was too cold to sit around in my car for twenty minutes like I normally do. :/

About two years ago when it was really icy, my dad and I drove around in the ice. I thought I was going to die. Although, I did get to see a bunch of morons that I went to high school with make "doughnuts" in the ice and nearly injure themselves. {Oh, not that I wanted them to injure themselves, but it was amusing to see them attempt to be "cool" while messing up their cars.}
