Really, if you like Fruitcake, stop reading NOW:

Ok. Just what is fruitcake? No, not the birthday cakes with fruit in them, they're awsome. But the ones you eat at Christmas. I mean, why in the world would anyone want to buy them? I mean, look at it! It looks like somebody ate some crayons and threw up a cake. It very well tastes like backwash. What do they put in it? Its fluffy, sweet, crispy and sour at the same time! It is NOT as good as it sounds. When we have guests over, my parents serve them fruitcake for the holidays. None of them seems to like it, they just take a tiny slice out of politeness. And now, because my parents bought so much, I'm being made to eat it for breakfast! *gags*

I don't like fruit cake but I don't really like many types of cakes to begin with (only chocolate or banana). I'm not a big fan of dried fruit mixed into things though so that doesn't help matters with the fruit cake.

i like fruitcake, but i dont like the ones that have bits of nuts in, or bits of peel. i dont get peel, it's hard, it tastes horrid, why put it in a cake??!

Truthfully, I've never had a fruitcake. I'm not exactly eager to try one, either, judging by the looks of them.

My brother used to love the stuff. And I'd make fun of him for it, but then he pointed out that I'd never actually tried it. So he made me, and I didn't like it. He doesn't like it anymore either.

Some things you just don't need to try to know you dislike.

So with fruit? Nyah.

Not a big fruitcake fan, but will eat it if there's lots of incing + marzipan and not many raisins.

Ah fruitcake....the gift that keeps on....getting passed on from person to person every year.

My family had a fuitcake once....never again. I hate having chunks of anything in my cake unless it's chocolate.

Anyways. I like it! I think it's great! And my mum and I eat it at Christmas (even though I shouldn't, darn white flour!)

Well it might be a lesson to not to make fun of people when they actually like something that you don't like. Everybody has different tastes.

My mom always makes her own fruitcake. -shrug- It's okay...I don't like it much...
