Does anyone go to theirs, I just had one today, it wasn't that much fun, but I danced with girl I liked alot! <3

I went to a dance once in grade 7 because I could, but then quickly realized it wasn't worth the $5 to get in x) I don't go anymore, especially because the high school dances are more expensive >.>

I usually go because it's my student-councilly duty to buy a ticket, set up, and attend, not because I'm particulary fond of dancing in a dark, very loud gymnasium with blaring music. I can't dance, either--something really inhibits me from doing so.

My school's dances are.... dirty. Seriously, I have no interest in watching a crowd of decidedly unattractive people necking for three hours.

I only go when I have to, but I usually have to all the time since I'm school president. -___- I hate dances so much, I think they're a waste of time, and I don't want to have to watch girls in fifth grade spazzing out because some other fifth grader asked them to dance.

Nope, never have been to one. Our school spirit's starting to drop though (I hear dances used to be really filled and the tickets would sell out fast), the Valentine's dance last week was a major failure. XP

9th grade, home schooled. I could go, as I am a registered student at the Charter School (W00t for Independant Study programs!) :P but I don't think I'll have fun dancing with 8th graders and younger. Okay, maybe if I liked 'em, but I don't know any of 'em well. So no...

And all the school dances I've been to before, I mostly stayed around the snack bar. Mm, cookies! :D

I go just to see if the current dance is any more fun than the last. The most recent one actually was more fun.

No, I never officially left; yes, I am gone forever. I have also permanently left AIM. If you need to contact me, drop a line on LJ. Same username.

I homeschool as well, but there a group of homeschooling people that I hang out with and we have dances and other activities that I go to sometimes.

I've never gone and I don't plan to, unless all of my friends go and we run around annoying people :)

I used to go IF...
I had a date that would pay OR
I could sneek in easily.

Other than that, if you don't have a date, your sitting down and it wasn't worth paying for.
