Just wondering, would any of you graphic makers out there enter a set contest without any neopets prizes i.e. money, items, etc. or no prizes at all?

If you chose "others" then please state...
e.g. no neopets prizes, but some graphics from the artist
Or whatever.

:P Sorry if I'm not being clear, a bit fuzzy today.

No. I don't enter set contests, with or without prizes in the form of money, neopoints, neopet items (or any other pet site currency/items) or graphics returned. So, no, I wouldn't.

Perhaps. I often enter set contests and rarely is it only for the prize (although they can be pretty spiffy too) - I usually enter the ones that take my fancy. Yes, I'd enter irrelevant of prizes if I was in the mood for creating sets and I liked the look of the subject matter and contest :)

I enter set contests because they might ask me to make something I enjoy like a Final Fantasy set or Disney. I dont play neo anymore, so the prize wouldnt mean anything to me.

Only if the person had subjects that I liked... For example if they wanted a set with a certain petpet from neopets, and it were to be easy and fun to make, then I would.

No. Not even if it was for me, if that was possible.

I used to to enter those contest but I am too lazy to do that anymore.

I think I will make for free if somebody worship my work. :D

I put other because it would simply depend on whether I got inspired to make a set with what was given or not. I mean, I never enter set contests simply for the prizes, so that wouldn't bother me, however that is no gaurentee that I'd enter.

The thing I don't much like about contests is that when I enter and don't win, I find that often my set is never used (as it is not a favorite obviously since it is not a winner). I'm sure this happens to lots of people, but I often find some of my favorite sets never get used or loved.

I put yes because if one of the topics was something I liked and was feeling creative I probably would.

(Also it would be nice to actually win a set contest...)

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

I don't enter set contests very often, but when I do it's because I like the subject, or because it's for a friend.

I don't play Neo much anymore, anyway...

No. I don't want Neopets money, anyway. My Neopets accounts are how I want 'em. :P

If I were a set maker, I would indeed enter a Set Contest with no prize. I really don't have much use for NP or the like, so I would probably enter one that had a topic that interests me. Saying that, I haven't the talent. =D

I don't make very good sets (obviously...) but I would enter one without prizes. I like at least trying to make a set for someone, even if it doesn't come out too good. Besides, I'd never win a prize anyway, so prize or not doesn't matter much to me.

I used to enter set contests regardless of prizes for the fun, but now that sets take so much longer to make (I absolutely insist not to use images, or draw at least most of it out), I rarely enter. The last set contest I entered was only because the NP prize was large (I ended up with 300k for second place) and I had lost a large amount of NP from a glitch.

I also need to be inspired to make a set.
