This question was on another forum I'm on and it provoked a wonderful discussion, so I shamefully swiped it:

Perhaps someone on this board can answer the timeless philosophical debate that i've spent much of my life pondering.

On a large tropical island cut off from civilization.... Who would win in a giant fight between Robots, Ninjas, Dinosaurs, and Pirates?

It doesn't really matter.

Whoever wins is stuck on a deserted island.

So, in actuality, they all lose.

Pirates and Ninjas would work together to defeat the Robots and Dinosaurs.

Then, the Ninjas would win, but the Pirates would pwn right back with their apples.

*Is referring to Kugetsu the Ninja and herself the Pirate*

Ok, fine. Aliens abduct them, beam them to the island and tell them whoever wins will get to go back home and have their woldest fantasies come true.

I'm a ninja fan myself. o:
Must be those Ninja Turtle movies.

Ninjas! Ninjas are cool! They're also smarter than all the other abovementioned parties.

Ninjas of course!

So you're telling me if a ninja went one on one with a tyrannausaurus rex, the ninja would win because he's... cool?

Robots would win because they have the ability to learn the abilities of all their foes making them invincible to all.

IMO.

And stealthy, and cool, and quiet, and did I metion cool?

Well, yeah! 'Sides, a ninja would take out the T-Rex with shuriken or throwing knives from 50 feet off, so...

Ninjas! I have a horrible obsession with ninjas. It'd be a tough fight between them and those nasty dinos, but ninjas are much smarter than gignatic lizards. And they'd probably just throw the robots in the water so their circuits would explode, and they'd chop off the peg legs of all the pirates so they can't walk anymore!
(Heehee, Kakashi's a ninja...heehee)

Ok, let's do some role playing.

I'm a t-rex. You're a ninja.

You throw a shuriken at my shin.

I don't notice.

I eat you.

Now, how does that make you feel?

Hey, throwing knives were an option too! Those are longer and more deadly and filled with poison!

From my silent perch in a tree, I throw a knife with such skill that it hits the back of your neck. Poison flows from a hidden channel in the blade. You die in horrible paralytic pain.

How does that make YOU feel?

Piraes would so pwn! Because there's a really cool movie about pirates, and it has Orlando Bloom, and he plays a pirate, so obviously they pwn!
