FBLA Nationals!

Fri Apr 15, 2005 10:55 pm

I made it to FBLA Nationals! I scored 2nd in Desktop Publishing in my state. Is anyone else going? I'd love to meet up with some of you! It's in Orlando, Florida this year.

Congratulations Fidds! Sadly, I don't quite understand this competition. This is probably due to my lack of intelligence but can you please explain this more in depth?

FBLA is the Future Business Leaders of America. They hold regional competitions on various business topics. The top winners at regionals compete statewide, and then the top winners and states compete against the entire nation.

Its not as surprising anymore that you're a republican.

Considering only top-notch students go to nationals, I'll take that as a compliment for my political party.

I remember posting a thread about FBLA a year or so back, and you responded (your school is 2nd in the nation, as I recall), but I thought you weren't a member.
I quit this year, due to conflicts with our chapter advisor, but I would've gone to Nationals in Business Law probably, as the previous year I placed 2nd in CA in BL and International Business, but I opted to do Int'l Bus and got .. um... I think I got 3rd place at Nationals in IB. Nationals is a great event. Not as fun as State, but still cool to meet everyone.
I'm sad I won't be attending this year, since now I can't meet you, Fidds.

:P You should've stayed at the Wildnerness Lodge.

Hm... when are the finals? From May 13-18, I'm staying at a Disney Resort (I haven't chosen yet) and going to all the parks. xD Maybe I'd see you. O_O
