So I had b-ball camp this week. It was right at the end of the last quarter of the last game. I almost made it thru the first day. Then it happened. I collided with another player. I broke my arm REALLY badly.
If this is my arm normally,
then this is how it looked when I broke it,
I got to go in an ambulance for the first time. Everyone was amazed at how calm it was. I guess the reason I was so calm was because I broke the same arm 2 years ago. When we got to the hospital, they had problems getting the IV in. They thought they got it the 1st time but they had problems. They took it out and started poking it around in my arm. They did that for like 3 minutes. Gosh that hurt. Eventually they took it out. Then they finally got it going in my wrist. They managed to get the arm popped back into place. Then they put it in a cast.
Then, last night, I couldn't sleep. It hurts to move my arm without the sling on. Well, I took the sling off and it hurt like heck. Me and my mom got up and went downstairs to watch some TV. I watched a little fresh prince. That finally got me to sleep around 4 AM. Gosh this thing is annoying. I can't use my left arm AT ALL! I typed this whole message with one hand BTW.
I'm having surgery tommorow. I honestly can't wait. My arm hurts if I lift it up on my own and sometimes I accidentally flex my arm and that hurts soooooooooo bad. The surgery will fix that.
Well, there goes my summer!
