That's right, on Friday I'll be off to spend a week in the outer banks of North Carolina! Woohoo, 12 hours trapped in a car with my entire family and only 7.8 hours of anime music, not to mention the 8 hours (on a good day) of battery life on my iPod! Then I get to share a room with my brother and not have internet for an entire week, during which I'll be missing a cumulative hour of Shaman King during which Yoh will most likely die, a scene I've been looking forward to for quite some time!

Yeah, I'm being majorly sarcastic. I hate vacations because my family doesn't work well in small confined spaces. We always end up fighting, and then my mom yells at us for not having fun. The only reason we ever go anywhere is because she's desperate to prove that we aren't poor (which I never thought we were O.o). Anyway, if anyone's wondering where I am next week, I'll probably be sitting in a room the size of a closet with my speakers blasting J-pop so the people 5 houses down can hear it. Just like at home. Hmm....

Oh, but I'll have an ocean view. That makes all the difference -_-

What does north carolina have? Nothing? Beaches?

North Carolina...never been there. My uncle lives there though. Eh...well, best of luck to you hun. If I had a VCR, I swear I'd tape Shaman King for you and mail to you, but I am VCR-less. Bah. Well, try to have fun. You never know, maybe this vacation could be different.

Hey, make the best of it. A lot of people can't go on vacations at all. (IE, me, although I'd rather not anyways.) Have some fun with your family instead of worrying about missing Yoh. :] Yoh can be replayed, families can't so enjoy them while you got them.

As a family we already spend a ton of time together, like weekend trips, eating dinner together every night, etc. But that's at our house which is very large and easy to get away from people in. We all like to have our own space too, and when we're jammed into a house the size of our living room things tend to get ugly.

Ah, yeah, true enough.

Well, I'm back.

Dear God. This was possibly the worst vacation ever. And not for the reasons I predicted.

Day 2, Chibi randomly deletes all of my music. Yay -_-**

All week: I didn't go swimming at all except for the first day, when my mom pointed out a shark. For some reason we got a beachhouse that was ridiculously close to the fishing pier. I spent an entire week in my room reading manga and drawing.

When we got home: My cat had killed a rabbit and brought in in the house for a welcome home present. It had obviously been sitting on the table for a few days because it was crawling with maggots, and now the entire house smells like rot and is covered in flies. The humidity isn't helping. Oh, and my betta's dying, but my mom won't let me euthanize him because she says he still has a chance. So now he's just floating near the top of his tank and gulping, and he looks really pale.

-sigh- At least we had a fairly pleasant drive home....-goes off to get more fly traps-

Ack... ew... maggots and flies... if that happened to me, I would just freak out XD.

Glad you've had a... er... nice vacation =P. Anyways, Welcome back =).

*hugs* Aww, that sucks. But if nothing else, at least it's over now. And hopefully those flies and maggots will be gone soon too. ^^;;
