...It depends. Whatever's more interesting, and sometimes it can be both.

Depends what the subject is as not everything that is old is rubbish and likewise not everything that is new is rubbish either.

In my opinion UK Music was better in the 1960's (eg. The Beatles) then it is today. (eg. S Club 7)

IMO Fashion is just some people opinion on what they think is in and what is out. eg. What one likes another person dislikes.

Movies IMO are better than used to be. Personally I prefer Colour films to Black and White films and that is not to say that I hate all Black and White films as I don't, eg. there is a certian vampire film I like which is in Black and White and uses text instead or the actors voices.)

Aye, that's probably true, but there are a lot of good UK bands around at the moment. (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, etc)

I tend to prefer new movies, but I like everything else old. Especially buildings - Westminster Abbey was just the coolest place I have EVER set foot in. Made me really giddy thinking about how many famous people were buried here, and how long it had been there, and so on and so forth. And I prefer my music to be at least a century old. The more historical, the better. There's "Men of Harlech", a song dating back to when the Celts fought the Saxons, several songs from the American Revolution, any song from the IRA (er, the Irish one) while they still had a point (Patriot Games is also good, though), and the only stuff I like within this century is bound to be Russian or Israeli.

Do what you will; but I will hinder it if I may.

I love oldskool stuff from the Twenty's, Thirties's and earlier, mostly fasion and music. I'm starting to get interested in old movies, particularly silent films. One movie that I really want to see and that I'm sure no one has heard of is "Un Chien Andalou" from 1929; it's... a hard one to explain.

Hurrah for most things!

I like new things. I prefer new music (hip hop, R&B, etc) to oldies. The fashion of today seems better than it was years ago. Just look at the 80s >_<

Awieewwweeiiiii!!!!!!! Ack! I totally agree!!! You like Muse?! You like MUSE! Wow me too! They're my all time favourite band!! EEEEIIII!!!!!

*Cough* Back on topic...live for the day is what I say. Take each day as it comes and experience living in the naughties :) Of course retro music was very cool and I'm sure there are plenty of amazing bands and films yet to come but I'm pretty happy with today.

Although, in ten years time I suppose we'll look back at all our photos and think "WHAT was I wearing?!"
