Actually, at first I thought this sounded gross. But after I thought about it, it seems more natural. I'd almost want this for myself, except I doubt it would ever catch on in the United States.

eww, what if someone axidentally dug you up o.o

but not a bad idea, having he tree grow from you, like continuing life. I would probably like to stay whole when I die, but this isn't all that bad.

Well, seeing as how they'd be digging up powder, I don't think they would know they dug someone up. The only reason why people wouldn't want to do this, is if someone were murdered or died under mysterious circumstances.
There wouldn't be anything to exhume later.

But people who like the environment, or don't like the thought of laying in casket or being creamated would like this I think. Actually, I think being freeze dried would probably be the cheaper way to go, because I don't think the liquid is very expensive. I mean, people play with the stuff all the time, to freeze dry roses and stuff.

And well, I guess the thought of being taken in by the earth and being used by the trees is almost peaceful to me.

What use do you have of your body when you're dead? xD Caskets take up space, but I can't stop other people from wanting them. Personally, I'd want to have the usable parts of my body donated to science, then the rest cremated or even this tree mulch thing. Giving back to the Earth. :3

I would love to be "buried" that way. And I get a tree to commemorate me too. :3

I'm such a tree lover. But that's okay. <3

That's just scary.

I plan on being cremated, anyway :)

The only thing I know for sureis that I don't want to be buried, so both cremating and freeze-drying sound ok to me :)

I have mixed feelings about this. Some of it sounds a bit iffy to me, like the body vibrating and then breaking into bits and stuff like that, but the natural side of it seems like a good idea. I'd still prefer to be buried I think. Maybe my views will change if this sort of thing becomes popular.

I think this sounds really good. It's eco-friendly and you wouldn't just be lying around doing nothing. And some people get their ashes scattered. With this, you could get your dust buried instead.

I personally have a moral objection to the use liquid nitrogen, and anyone who's ever read into the subject will know what I'm talking about, so I'll be avoiding this.

You have morals?! :o

I quite like the idea actually. I'd find it weird without the tree though. Life from life is a romantic idea. There's got to be a catch.

It sounds like a really good idea to me... it goes back to mother nature and all that... As someone said before, being buried takes up way to much space and doesn't help the environment in any way.

I'd still like to be cremated though. Seems a lot warmer XD.

I don't want to be turned into mush, thank you very much. I'd rather be cremated. :)
