Anyone doing Nanowrimo?

For anyone who doesn't know what it is, http://www.nanowrimo.org/ .

Anyways, in brief, you have a month to write a 50000 word novel.

Just wondering if anyone else is planning on doing it this year, and if anyone did it last year.

does anyone ever actually get any good writing from nanowrimo? it sounds like a bad idea for actually writing well. i believe in quality over quantity.

I think the idea is to just get your idea out, no matter how bad it is, after all, that's what spending a few months afterwards editing and rewriting parts is for.
